| My name is Jean Auer and I live beside Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I was born in Cambridge, Ohio and have lived in Colorado, Texas and California. My home is in the forest, close to Lake Superior, and I am surrounded by the most beautiful scenery in the United States. This gives me inspiration for my paintings and I really enjoy painting pictures of the rock formations along the shore of Lake Superior.
